Truck dispatch questions

What does a truck dispatcher do for an owner-operator?

A dispatcher finds and books loads for your truck, negotiates rates with brokers, fills out broker setup packets, checks rate confirmations, and handles paperwork like invoices and detention or TONU claims. We do all of that so your time goes into driving.

How much does Ever Loaded charge for dispatch?

It depends on your equipment and fleet size. Box trucks and non-CDL hotshots pay 7% of weekly gross for one truck or 6% for two or more. CDL hotshots, dry vans, reefers and power only pay 6% or 5%. Flatbeds, step decks and flatbed maxis pay 5% or 4%. Any of these can choose a flat $250 per week instead. RGN, lowboy and Landoll are quoted per load.

Do you force dispatch?

No. We bring you loads with the rate and details, and you decide which ones to take.

Which states do you dispatch in?

All 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C. We don't dispatch in Alaska or Hawaii.

What documents do I need to get started?

Your MC authority or USDOT number, a W-9, your certificate of insurance, and either a notice of assignment (if you use a factoring company) or a voided check for direct payment. We use these to set you up with brokers.

How do I get paid for my loads?

Brokers pay you directly or through your factoring company. After delivery we send the invoice with your rate confirmation, bill of lading and proof of delivery so payment isn't held up.

Is Ever Loaded LLC a registered company?

Yes. Ever Loaded LLC is a Delaware limited liability company, file number 7198556, effective January 1, 2023. You can view our certificate of formation on this page and confirm our registration on the Delaware Division of Corporations website.

Do you pay referral bonuses?

Yes. Refer a carrier who needs a dispatcher and earn up to $300, or a permanent discount of up to 3% off your weekly invoice.
